In the mid 40's here and there snow is melting at a pretty good rate, actually can see grass and most of the roof has melted.🙂

Rained most of Sunday in SoCal. My 180 mile drive home, mostly in pretty heavy rain, took almost 4 hours. There was one visible accident about 45 miles from home. Saw a truck on right of freeway, and I think that was his tire on the left.
Today the sun is out, but COLD at 55. Came into the office and look at the temp, it shows 65 because SOMEBODY turned on the A/C. WTF?

Where is that dude "Phil" that said something about winter?
Woke this morning to the coldest of the year, 38!!!!!! Glittery sparkles on all the cars, and a short section of the roof near the gutters. Humidity is still near 70% due to recent rains. 38!!!!!!

Rain's gone for now. Got several inches this week, we need it. Hope everyone is safe, especially in the burn scar areas where there was the possibilities of flash floods and mudslides.
39°F this morning; coldest so far this season. Will be 48/47 for my walk tonight, definitely jacket weather. |

Major nor'easter headed up the coast. NJ all the way to Nova Scotia is looking at blizzard conditions and 8"+ snowfall. Spring ain't anywhere close.

It’ll be here in a month. I don’t think that’s long.

We just had to cut a trip down yonder short because of the impending nor'easter. All of the electronic highway signs in NJ from the Delaware bridge to Mahwah were warning of impending blizzard conditions for tomorrow and Monday. Our forecast here in the Hudson Valley has been bouncing between 9-13 inches and 12-18 inches every few hours.
Yesterday afternoon, we were cruising in shorts with the windows rolled down: .

They've bumped up the snowfall amounts just a tad..Gassed up the new F150 powerboost. Hopefully it stays in the garage..

They bumped up our Winter Storm Watch to a full-on Blizzard Warning! Total snow accumulations now forecast between 14 and 22 inches, with winds gusting as high as 45 mph.
Nothing says welcome home in the northeast after a week away like an empty refrigerator...and bare grocery store shelves from panic buying when we really need to re-stock the basics.....
