Should I install KW v3 or wait...
Hi mates,
I need some advise, I have h&r spring on my ride for 4 months, would you install kw v3 now or later. I need to consider my kids and wife sitting in this ride. I am in dilemma as l like the look on coils. I want to make a decision real fast as I am getting my workshop to order the coils which will take 4 weeks to arrive. Thanks for the advise.0

I dont think it would be a bad idea to get KW v3's. I use mine daily and as a reference my car in the sport+ setting the ride is just slightly less firm as the out of the box recommended KW V3 setting. You could even soften them up a couple notches to get very close to the sport setting from bmw.
Thats just my thought

Apart from ride comfort, drop height should be considered too tinybeammer. I don't know if you have to drive on ramps often. For us in HK the ramps of multi-story car parks will kill our front, scratching big time. And if you want to add a front lip later, need to factor in too.
I love the stance of the cars of the So. Cal. bros. But it will be absolutely suicide for me if I lower my car like them in terms of practicality.

i think being slammed isnt too practical in asia as i go back to taiwan pretty often and most parking structures are under ground and u will definately have a hard time not scraping.
so the best thing to do is to get air coilovers! something like the phantom cup kit! when its in the lowest setting its on the coils u just raise it minimum to clear bumps and underground parking, so handling wise u still get the coil over handling.! i know CKS is coming with something like the setup i mentioned on top for a very affordable price! i might get it!

Planning to order KW V3 this weekend. Could you share some details and experience of your CKS? If this is real good, I might change my mind anytime. How would you compare KW V3 vs CKS? Any comments bro.? |
