thumbs up for Daniel and RSI/DR Euro. This is a great pipe for those with the N55 engine in their F10/E7X platform to wake it up along side the JB3 tune. Burger Turning is at work on an o2 sensor simulator (plug and play)as well, which should help those who don't or can't upgrade to Stage 2. |

Yep everything on the car was taken off around Feb of this year
http://f10.5post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=535457 If you go there you can hear how the downpipe and exhaust sounded in the first video.

Anyone have dyno results for ...
Dr Euro catless downpipe (20-30hp) Muffler Delete Jb4 stage 2 (map 2 or 5) (60-100hp) Flex fuel (20hp) VRSF Charge pipe Custom intake (10 hp) Do the math each day they provide to the wheels and the numbers are staggering (above would state 110-160 hp), but what's reality? Cold start and revs Inside the car launch Car warmed up (new quad tips) |

(For the record they don't stack well on the n55 535. After a lot of experimenting and research it turns out that we have limitations on our ecu that the F30 335 doesn't have, along with a slightly smaller turbo then the F30) I had no mods all stock minus a flash tune and was able to achieve 320whp /420wtq. I thought we could stack mods on top of that and gain more, and we couldn't squeeze any more out of my 2011 n55. What did bump me up to 330whp was the use of e85. I threw on a DP and again same numbers 330whp and same torque. I got to 345whp 500wtq on a stage 2 flash tune. The only way to get our cars really moving is to flash tune and turbo upgrade. That new B58 540i though, 0-60 4.7 seconds stock! There are 2 other things you can do to make it strong offline the line and peppier all around. 1. Get a sprint booster. This will remove your "turbo lag", which actually turns out to be throttle lag. 2. Reverse your spring on your oil cooling valve. This will allow your car to run cooler thus not pull any timing from heat. Average operating temp for me in SoCal is 215F (This is a good street application if you live in warmer areas. Please do your research on this if you decide to do it)

Haven't seen my old threads in a long time. The biggest limitation on our motors is the turbo. If I had the option for a turbo upgrade back then it would have been one of my first mods.

I am driving an e90 m3 dct. I've been away from BMW for a couple years but ran across this one a couple months ago and couldn't resist lol. I still have my other cars so this one is more of a treat to drive when I really want to drive. The f30 is my wife's car but that one is getting traded in soon for a euro delivery m3.

Recommendation
Jaekeem,
If you were starting with an f10 535i today what would your mods be? I'm selling an f30 335i and just bought f10 535i m sport. Obviously a noticeable power difference, and not trying to match the 3 series, but a couple bolt one I could do myself would be great. I'm fairly capable under the hood and can lift the car for work. I have JB4 stage one and was considering: Turboback exhaust (what size is good for this engine?) Sprint booster High flow filter in exhaust (or is full replacement of box Better?) Thanks ahead of time. |

I've had a lot of dyno time with this car and probably have over 100 runs over at EAS trying to do everything to extract power minus a turbo swap.

Go with jb4 stage 2, they come with flex fuel wires already.
The 3 most notable power gains are Jb4 stage 2 Catless downpipe E85 flex fuel Example Last night I raced a 2014 Challenger SRT8 0-80 (when I let off) and had no problem taking it. Got ahead stayed ahead I have 2011 535i xdrive m sport Jb4 stage 2 on map 5 75/25 mix of 93/e85 fuel Dr. Euro Catless downpipe Custom intake VRSF charge pipe Muffler delete with quad tips If you look on this forum and buy appropriately you can have everything for under $1000 and it's a night and day difference. That's a lot of bang for your buck. |

Our cars are much better than 5.5/5.7 stock. Its well documented that those numbers were closer to 5.2 stock. My car set up currently puts me around 4.6/4.7 according to a Beltronics Vector FX2 Accelerometer.
The SRT8 is 4.5 but how many RWD cars do you know with that sort of power actually achieve there actual 0-60? Im not saying my car is the fastest 535 around, but a realistic everyday joe launch will get the SRT around 4.7 Its all about useable power. With these mods I have seen countless torques reaching 430 to 570 (on stock turbo with custom tune, protuningfreaks.com) Great quote.....“Horsepower sells engines and cars. But torque moves the car.” – Kevin McClelland, Flowmaster Mufflers Challenger weight 4170 lbs with 470hp/470tq (at crank) 535i xdrive weight 4233 lbs with (your numbers Bmw doubles) 330hp/500tq (at the wheels). Your numbers at the crank are not far off on horse power (Converted is I believe 405hpish) and higher on torque. Especially this time of year, my logs are showing 18psi consistently with map 5 and adding the e85 mix just sweetens the deal. I will also say this. He was realing me in at about the 50mph mark and if we had kept going anymore past when I let off, I would have been toast. Last edited by Brandon6127C; 12-23-2016 at 11:41 AM.. |

Guess you didn't read all my post very well. Hp isn't gods bible to 0-60. If I had a car with 500wtq and can't crack 5.0 sec 0-60 I better just buy a moped because that's a joke.
Caring only about hp is like asking someone what the can bench press. Who cares it isn't what makes the car. Just a bragging point. If hp is all your concerned with then I've watched a personal close friend with 2011 335 awd 550ish whp smoke 700hp rwd corvettes and other cars like their standing still. Maybe the AWD is just that much better? Also if your at 345whp that's already a 70hp jump over stock (275whp) So your theory on over stock numbers isn't really holding any water either. |

I believe that a 550hp e90 335 twin turbo can keep up with, if not beat a 700hp corvette. Our cars are junk even next to a 2007 e90 335. I had a stage 1 tune and was beat by a stock e90 335. The only reason I brought up a 335 is because I owned a 4.7 sec car that was the 335 G5 JB4 tuned. Anywho, the turbo that is in our 535 has a smaller exhaust diameter outlet than our smaller brother n55 335. That didn't change until 2014. I have Dyno posts of my car stock, stage 1 and 2 tuned. Stock is 280whp btw. I would think awd would shave 1/10th to 2/10th's of a second, but by no means .5 seconds. Glad your setup is taking down srt-8's keep up the good work.

The 335 I mentioned is not twin turbo. It's n55 single turbo.
I'd agree with your maybe 2/10ths. I didn't claim to be .5sec faster than BMW doubles so your assessment of 2/10ths would be accurate based on the number I claimed for my 0-60 |

In any event our cars are sub par to the other BMWs the rock the 3" outlet with electronic wastegates. The only way to victory for us is upgraded turbos. There is a forum member that just got the stage 2 pure with my same tune. Waiting to see his numbers. If you check my threads you'll see that our ecu has way more limitations than a 335

First I never said the 335 was stock turbo. He has Pure Turbo stage 2. My point with his car was that hp isn't what matters if he takes cars over 100hp higher
Also check out boostmod3 speedworx, there pushing over 400hp stock turbo and over 500tq with stock turbo. |
