i have the full system from them as well actually the prototype custom quad outlet from their corporate facility and they still drone like crazy. i had them fixed it by adding a center resonator/muffler that it got better but the car is wayy quite as well too. its the way their mufflers are manufactured that it causes the droning. im just glad im finally getting another setup that i have been waiting for a while. i think kruzn335 should know a solution about the droning.

Did you buy directly from them? What about installation and overall costs? I think a lot of people might do this instead of doing a cat-back or axle-back exhaust mod, so as not to worry about drone or excessive noise (code for wife's complaints).

this definately gives the car a more sporty tone rather than getting wayy too loud and definately more power gain then a full cat back exhaust.

What I'd like to see/hear personally is the stock resonator removed and this down pipe.

The install is easy since there is plenty of clearance and full DIY instructions are available. Install cost $150 and we are currently the only available source for the product.

This is a catless downpipe so it will cause a CEL once it adapts. Tuning is a must with this downpipe. We used Juicebox in our dyno tests. There are 3 bungs on the downpipe. Primary 02 sensor, post cat 02 sensor, and wideband. Power gains were 19WHP & 18WTQ overall. Peak gains of 24WHP & 36WTQ at 3500RPM. PM sent regarding pricing. It is also posted in the commercial section if you would like more detailed information.

1. What is CEL 2. since it is Catless, will it cause emission issue with city? illegal? 3. What is BUNG? 4. Is this mod easily detectable by dealers and possibly void the warranty? |

Catless Downpipe = Is meant for off road use only. BUNG = Where you 02 Sensor threads into. Warranty = The Mod can be detected by your dealer, and possibly void warranty. Thank you! |

We are trying different cats currently. Our goal is to be able to pass tailpipe emissions while not sacrificing too much HP and TQ. Stay posted for updates in our commercial thread!

I have contacted Bavarian Technic to see when coding will be available for the F10 (this also somewhat dictates when Stage 2 will be available) - seems like it may be 6+ months... We should have a fix sooner than later - all updates will be posted in our commercial thread.
