Can I use the same wheels for both TRACK and WINTER?

I'm going to need winter wheels and tires next fall. I would also like to have a set of track wheels and tires. I'm wondering how practical it would be to use one set of wheels for both?

On my 335, I ran a set of SSR GT7's with Blizzak 225's all around. All of the wheels are the same width.

Obviously for the track, I would want a wider tire all around and for the winter, a narrower one. I'm wondering if there is a good size that I could use for everything???

It wouldn't be very practical for the reason you mentioned. You want a wide wheel for the track and a narrow wheel for snow. Plus, you'd want your track wheels to be light, which means they can be pricy. Do you really want to drive and potentially ruin your nice track wheels on public roads in the winter? Having said this, you can go for the stock 18" wheels. They are not light, but they are not really heavy either. You can put 235/255 for snow, and 245/265 for the track. You can go with slightly wider track tires, but it would be a compromise. You can obviously go with much wider track tires with wider wheels. This all depends on how much performance you want from your track wheels. Only you can answer that.
